I went with my parents to cook another family dinner at the Believe In Tomorrow House at Johns Hopkins. I also did some “crafting” and decorated gingerbread cookies with a special mother of a 5 year-old girl at the hospital. We met some great families!

At the DC Heart Walk, I volunteered at the Go Red For Women booth to raise awareness about our nation’s number one killer of women, heart disease. We encouraged people to sign up to become a part of the movement and to get more information. Then, I completed the walk with about 12,000 others! (It was a perfect time to wear my red gloves and scarf!) The event raised $1,737,800!
