Today was possibly my favorite experience with Believe in Tomorrow! I was able to meet an amazing family and particularly a 9 year old girl who is so sweet and brave! We baked cookies, did crafts like making necklaces, and played with the many toys provided at the Believe in Tomorrow House. I also brought one of my “Mini MODELS” who helped out and had a great time. I could tell that this family really appreciated Believe in Tomorrow and the experience was so rewarding for me!

I was able to meet with two individual business owners to discuss Margo’s M.O.D.E.L.S. and the President’s Volunteer Service Awards! We spoke about how they can get involved in PVSA by becoming a Certifying Organization. This national program is such a great opportunity to promote community service and recognize deserving volunteers!
January 2011 Carpenter’s Hands: New Life For Girls –
I volunteered with other member’s of LifePoint Church during a Carpenter’s Hands project at New Life For Girls. New Life For Girls provides housing and meets the needs of women and children trapped in alcohol and drug addiction. Through Carpenter’s Hands, we help others in practical ways such as construction projects for those in need. My dad even helped me to learn how to put down flooring! It was a long, but fun, day and I hope that our work brings smiles to the women at New Life For Girls!
